Chef Daniel has had quite the career, ranging from serving celebrities and royalty to owning restaurants. He has hosted his own cooking show on the Univision/Telemundo Networks and PBS to rave reviews. French, Italian, Caribbean and Continental cuisine pose no problem for our Chef, nor does communication. He fluently speaks English, French, Spanish, along with a little Portuguese and Italian.
He has prepared exclusive meals for Sean Connery, Jennifer Lopez, Bee Gees, Tom Jones, Antonio Banderas, Raquel Welch, Saudi Arabia Royal Family, Julio Iglesias, Faye Dunaway, Rod Shneider, Marc Anthony, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and the King of Spain Juan Carlos I.
Chef Daniel was born in Montevideo, Uruguay to French parents (his father is a chef, as are both brothers) and spent his first few years in South America. Daniel's teen years were in Mauritania, North Africa where he added new styles to his cooking repertoire. He grew up in Provence. His first restaurant was in Nimes when he was in his early 20’s. He moved to Puerto Rico in his late 20’s and then onto New York City where he worked at Regine’s. He also opened Regine’s in Miami. Also an chef/owner at Osteria del Teatro in South Beach. He has served up his cuisine to the rich and famous. He currently resides in Aspen, Colorado and is ready to make any event you have special.
